5 m³/day – DRINKING WATER SYSTEM – 2011A central drinking water system has been established and the drinking water is distributed to the points of use for approximately 1000 employees.
0,5 m³/hour – DEIONIZED WATER COOLING SYSTEM - 2011A closed loop deionized water cooling system is designed specially for keeping resistance and temperature of water in a specific level that can be set and controlled by a PLC program. The system is capable of providing pure water with a resistivity of 1 to 3 MΩ and 10 to 60°C at 0,5 m³/hour flow rate.
In order to reduce the amount of blowdown in steam boilers of the chicken processing plants, TDS level of water is decreased to a very low level. This purified water is also used in many other needs and helps protect the pipelines and the mechanical systems while creating an economization for the business.
This system is used for providing a certain quality water for testing laundry washing machines under standart conditions in order to receive some quality certifications. The donkeys with a number of 50 to 70 that is held under care by a German association for the protection of animals are fed with water that is produced by AquaSTAR systems. Since there is no other clean water resource on such a small island, drinking water production from seawater has made life possible on the island for the donkeys and the wild animals.
Well water is deionized by seperate bed deionization columns and purified water below 20 µs/cm is produced.
